Be God’s Voice

The world is crying out for help! Due to the presence of evil, there are wars literally around the world. Somehow, we have become immune to the pain and horror, and we regard them as common everyday occurrences.
Today, more than ever, God needs us to be His voice, His tender touch in a world that simply does not know how to heal. God’s people are the voice of calm in a chaotic world. But sometimes God’s people need to calm their own souls.
We need healing. Even Christians go through storms, disappointments, and heartbreak. So how do we become God’s voice to a hurting world? We need a daily walk with the Lord in the power of the Spirit. Without this divine connection, the flesh kicks in. We lose patience, vision, and hope. Ultimately, we lose our direction. It is a daily thing, my friends. It takes discipline to stay connected to God. We must determine daily to take time to read His Word and listen for His voice. Then we will “go from strength to strength” (Psalm 84:7, KJV).
Power is promised to us. Though we tire and grow weary, though our hearts are crushed, our God does not leave us to suffer alone. He never tires and never becomes exhausted. He is always here for us. We can be the salt of the earth when we find our strength and power from His Spirit. We can bring light and hope to others, even when we are struggling. If we remain connected to God daily, we can walk with joy. Not because our lives are perfect but because we are connected to the Source of power. He perfects His power within us.
What an amazing assurance. We are His children, and we are promised eternal life when Jesus returns. Let us live like we know the Father.
Let us not be afraid to come to Him with everything that troubles us, with anything that has a hold on our lives. He is strong enough to carry us through any trial. And one day soon, He will welcome us into His arms. While we wait for that day, let us stay connected to Him and, through His Spirit, be His voice to a troubled world.
We belong to God’s kingdom.
