Women are designed with unique and amazing qualities—just look at Proverbs 31. Let us examine how we can discover our value, worth, and purpose by listing some ABCs for women. A—Acknowledge and accept who we are. Jesus created us, and we are worthy. We have great value, and as we acknowledge Him, “He shall direct [our] paths” (Proverbs 3:6, NKJV). Let us put our whole heart, mind, and spirit into trusting God and learn anew to bring all our decisions, concerns, and works of service to God in prayer, always listening for His still, small voice. B—Beauty. In Ecclesiastes 3:11 we read, “He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts” (NKJV). God has made us beautiful.
Let us go forth, humbly acknowledging our beauty.
He has set eternity in our hearts, so let us set eternal goals daily. He wants our lives to count and for us to be productive, effective, and impactful.
We can go outside our comfort zones and explore various ministries—or create our own as God leads. We can allow God to show us His purpose.
We will be amazed as our trust in God empowers us to share the good news of Jesus Christ—with beauty. He wants to expand our territory. C—Courage. In Esther 4:14, Mordecai says to Esther, “For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise . . . from another place. . . . Yet who knows whether you have come . . . for such a time as this?” (NKJV). Demonstrating courage means we will always choose to trust God, knowing He is faithful. He wants us to be copartners with Him in ministry.
This world is not our home. We are just passing through it, and we have been called to participate with the Lord to complete the divine assignments He has given. We are here to make known the blessed hope that we hold so dear.
Let us lay aside our fears and boldly establish a loving commitment to serving others, trusting that what we lack, God will provide.
My friends, let us take action with God-given courage and be like Esther. We do not have to stop at ABC. I encourage you to complete the additional twenty-three letters of the alphabet in your study time. God will give you the Scripture and words that will further define your value, worth, and purpose in Him.
