Share the Word With Others

On December 14, 2021, I had to sign an important document.

It had been prearranged that someone would come to my home to get my signature. Sure enough, Elly arrived, and I invited her inside.

She was such a pleasant young lady.

We headed toward the kitchen, where it would be easier for me to sign the document. As soon as she came inside, she noticed the booklet Finding Peace in a Troubled World lying on the table. She asked if I had read the book, and I said I had.

She excitedly told me that her mother also had the book, and she liked it so much that she read from it every day. I was so surprised and pleased to hear it.

I looked at Elly and told her that I would be happy to give her my copy of the book. She was very excited and thanked me. She promised to read it.

I was touched by her enthusiasm. Through the years, it has been my personal outreach ministry to always have inspiring material on hand to share with others every chance I get. I have shared it with bank tellers, store clerks, people on the airplane, the repairman, and the landscaping man—anyone who comes to my house. The list could go on and on.

Many people were so glad when I shared the material and thanked me sincerely for it. It is my earnest desire and passion to share the love of God with others.

I have read about and heard of many people who surrendered their lives to God after receiving and reading inspiring books and tracts that someone shared with them.

Sometimes they even found a book in the trash and took it home to read! Remember, ladies; we are called to be ambassadors for Christ in this world.

Therefore, in whatever way we can, we must reach out to those who do not know the love of God. It will be a great blessing to them and to us—if we are willing to share with others in whatever way we can. In this way, we can help those in need with genuine, Christlike love, the same love with which Christ has loved us!
