Do you ever feel God asking you to do something but tell yourself, How could this even be possible? What would happen if I did this? Perhaps you are worried about the ramifications of having a certain difficult conversation with someone, or you have a huge crisis in front of you that you do not know how to get through.
Maybe you feel God pushing you to step outside your comfort zone, or He is laying a big dream on your heart—and you have no idea how it could be accomplished! There are a million things that come across our path that really seem quite impossible, at least by human standards. But then we must remember that with God, impossible is not a word! The marriage that is falling apart and seems impossible to save—God can save it! The child who seems impossible to reach—God can bring them back to Jesus! Your heart that has been so broken and wounded you feel it’s impossible to be healed—God can heal it! The vision that God has placed on your heart that seems completely impossible to accomplish—God can accomplish it! Remember, impossible is not in God’s vocabulary. No, we serve the God of the possible! This morning, I woke up with the song “God Will Make a Way” playing through my mind.
Whatever you are facing or going through right now, remember that God is on the throne. He can take the darkest, most difficult, and impossible-looking situation and turn it around for His glory (Genesis 50:20; Romans 8:28).
No matter what is staring you in the face, God is with you, and He will make a way through the wilderness to accomplish His perfect plan for His glory! He promises, “I will go before you and make the rough places smooth; I will shatter the doors of bronze and cut through their iron bars. I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden wealth of secret places, So that you may know that it is I, The LORD, the God of Israel, who calls you by your name” (Isaiah 45:2, 3, NASB). You can trust this God who knows your name! Let Him make all things possible!
