My friend Elizabeth shared with me this touching experience.
One day, after she finished some grocery shopping, Elizabeth came out of the store with her grocery cart and headed toward the parking lot.
She went to the area where she usually parked her car but could not find it. My friend continued to walk up and down the parking lot, looking for the car.
Just then, a kind gentleman noticed her predicament and offered to help her find the car by using the car-locator button with her key. He then helped her look around the parking lot, but he was also unable to locate the car. By now, Elizabeth was tired, frustrated, and worried. She stopped and earnestly prayed, asking God to help her find the car soon.
After Elizabeth had finished praying, she went to search another area of the large parking lot and was finally able to find her car. For some reason, Elizabeth had inadvertently parked in this section and forgotten she had parked there. My friend immediately thanked God, happy and relieved to have found her car. As she was about to take the groceries out of the shopping cart, a young man came and offered help. Elizabeth was so glad because her back hurt after pushing the cart all over the parking lot. After he had loaded the groceries, she reached into her purse to give him a tip, but he refused and said that he was happy to help her.
Elizabeth thanked God for a second time, grateful to Him for sending this young man to help her. When Elizabeth got into the car, she noticed a flyer had been placed on her window. My friend got out, removed the flyer, and read these words on it: “Just to remind you that God loves you!” She had tears of joy after reading those words and felt reassured that God was looking after her and that He would always love and care for her.
For the third time, Elizabeth praised God for the wonderful ways in which He had taken care of her that day and brought her safely home.
My dear friend, you can always trust and depend on our loving and caring God. Nothing is too small or too big for Him to take care of on your behalf.
You can go to Him with whatever problems, trials, and sorrows you may face in life, and you will find He is always there. Sometimes He helps in unexpected ways.
Just keep trusting in Him. Always.
