Verse:

For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. —Romans 10:12

Our world is a huge battlefield between God and Satan.

On one side, God is trying to save and unite humanity with the cement of His unconditional love. On the other side, Satan is trying to mislead and divide humanity with the wedge of his unlimited selfishness. He has caused deep social divides around the globe through evils such as exclusivism, tribalism, and racism.

In his speech at the German Reichstag on January 30, 1939, Adolf Hitler announced, “Today I will be once again a prophet: if the international Jewish financiers in and outside Europe should succeed in plunging the nations once again into a world war, then the result will not be the Bolshevizing of the earth, and thus the victory of Jewry, but the annihilation of the Jewish race in Europe!”54 Hitler fulfilled his anti-Semitic prophecy in a most terrible way. In stark contrast, authentic Christianity, counting all people as part of a single human family, overcomes cultural, ethnic, and social barriers.

In the Old Testament, the Messianic era was portrayed as a time when Jews and Gentiles would worship together in God’s temple, making it “a house of prayer for all nations” (Isaiah 56:7). Simeon, seeing the Child Jesus in the temple, prophesied that He came to bring salvation to “all peoples,” including both Jews and Gentiles (Luke 2:30–32). Paul affirmed, “There is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him” (Romans 10:12). And further, “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus” (Galatians 3:28). God’s love is powerful enough to bring us into one spiritual brotherhood. Those who are in Christ are “no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God” (Ephesians 2:19).

God’s love empowers us to love everyone, whether they are Jews or Gentiles or even our own enemies (Matthew 5:43–48).

You are invited today to be a stonemason for God, filling racial and social cracks with the cement of God’s infinite love.

Then, and only then, will the world be able to witness the transforming power of our religion.
