Verse:But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. —Philippians 4:19, KJV
Finally! I decided that the time had come for me to purchase a vehicle of my own. Though I had had my driver’s license for some time, I was not very keen on purchasing a vehicle. I had a real fear of the reckless driving that I have seen on our roads from time to time. I also had very little interest in borrowing funds to purchase a vehicle. I chose to wait until I could purchase it with cash. I wanted a reliable vehicle that was in great condition with low mileage. I also wanted a hassle-free process.
And for years, I got by quite well with other modes of travel.
But the time had come to have my own transportation.
I prayed for a vehicle over a week or so.
Searching the newspaper one Sunday, I began calling a few numbers for vehicles I had an interest in. On about my fourth or fifth call, I found what I wanted. The Holy Spirit led me to the right person, who, coincidentally, was also a person of faith and who, after speaking with me on the phone, felt impressed to hold the vehicle for me despite having already talked to several people who were also interested in it.
He assured me that he would tell any other interested person who called that the vehicle was already taken. He asked me to arrive early in the city so the transaction could be done on the same day if possible. I thanked God for leading me to the right vehicle! We completed the necessary transaction, and I left with a vehicle that perfectly fit the description of what I wanted. And yes, God blessed me so I could purchase the vehicle with cash and no loans. God is so awesome! And I must confess that after two weeks of driving on the roads, my former fears about driving went away, and now I drive safely and confidently with God’s help. And finally, the entire process took only two days and was hassle-free. So today, my sisters, know that whatever your needs are, you can take them all to God. He has a plan to meet all your needs —way beyond your expectations.
Trust Him to meet your deepest needs because only He can truly satisfy them.
