Verse:“When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.” —Luke 21:28, NIV
Dear Father, how sweet is Your name to my ears.
You bring me to this hour of a brand-new day.
You wake me in my right mind, able to put words together to express my gratitude and appreciation for how deep Your love is for me.
You are my Creator and my Guide. Today, help me to be ready to accept Your Holy Spirit. Lord, thank You that You are in control of my total existence.
As I come to Your throne, please forgive my sins.
Humbly, I petition You for strength, help, and a song in my heart to rally through this day and the coming days according to Your will.
Whatever concerns and desires my children and grandchildren may have, help them understand this journey that we are on —that we live in unprecedented times and that changes are occurring rapidly. Lord, I know that we are in the time of probation now, and I ask for Your help to make it known to my family what we must do to be ready. Lord, I understand that probation comes first, then judgment from the Most High God. It is during judgment that You will decide where we will spend eternity: heaven or hell. As Your servant, help me to do all that I can to bring awareness of the seriousness of this waging war of good and evil that bombards us.
May we all be ready to meet You in peace.
Lord, another opportunity presents itself today to grow a deeper relationship with You. Fill me now with the knowledge that You want me to have concerning my purpose for being here. You are a Mighty God, and words cannot express my deep gratitude and dependence on You. Whatever lies before me, may it glorify You in every way.
Father, I just want to do Your perfect will.
As we approach the unknown future, Lord, come near to us and help us realize that time grows shorter each day and that the coming of Your Son is near. The social unrest, global pandemics, and other calamities testify of Your Scriptures daily. Father, blessed be the name of Jesus, who warns us of the coming calamities and gives us hope through the promises and salvation of Jesus Christ.
Amen.
