AI-narrated recordings

The publishers barred ministries from recording the devotionals and posting them on YouTube, which left us without audio.

Other ministries chose to narrate devotionals generated by AI. We built a process in which AI only reads each devotional's real text, without changing anything. It may still make a few mistakes, and these recordings are not posted on YouTube.

Producing them every day is costly. Thank you for your support and patience.

Verse:

In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps. —Proverbs 16:9, NIV

My husband and I were born and raised in Argentina, a country full of beautiful landscapes and rich in culture. For over ten years we dedicated our lives to Adventist education in our beloved province of Entre Ríos. These years were filled with challenges and blessings. Each day God showed us His faithfulness in challenges both big and small. We saw His hand in the dedication of our colleagues, in the smiles of the students, and in the moments of learning and growth that we shared. Working for the university and the school gave us a very comfortable life. We built our house, made a good income, and had friends and family nearby. Everything was going very well—more than well. We felt satisfied and content with life.

However, amid this comfort, we began to feel an unease in our hearts. It seemed God was calling us to step beyond our comfort zone.

We sensed He was preparing us for a new mission. We remembered Proverbs 16:9, “We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps” (NLT).

Though we had charted our course in Argentina, we understood that the Lord directed our steps. In prayer we surrendered our doubts and fears to God, trusting that He would guide and provide for us in every new chapter of our lives.

We contacted Andrews University in the United States of America to enroll in the English as a Second Language (ESL) program.

We prepared to leave, resigned from our jobs, rented out our house, and bought plane tickets with the certainty that God was guiding our steps.

However, just before we left, the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted our plans. Opportunities closed, and the university informed us that English classes would be held online rather than in person. This news was a hard blow for us.

We had given up everything for an immersive learning experience. In the midst of uncertainty, we clung to our faith and God’s promises.

Although our plans had crumbled, we trusted God had a greater purpose for us. The pandemic taught us to depend entirely on God and to be flexible with our plans. He used this situation to strengthen us and prepare us for the future.

We learned to trust Him more. Friends, we can be confident in times of uncertainty, for while our plans may change, His love and guidance remain constant. Always.
