AI-narrated recordings

The publishers barred ministries from recording the devotionals and posting them on YouTube, which left us without audio.

Other ministries chose to narrate devotionals generated by AI. We built a process in which AI only reads each devotional's real text, without changing anything. It may still make a few mistakes, and these recordings are not posted on YouTube.

Producing them every day is costly. Thank you for your support and patience.

Verse:

“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.” —John 14:1–3, NKJV

Part of the great American dream is owning your own home. I had the privilege of owning my own house before, and it was a great feeling knowing I had a place to call my own. I could decorate it how I wanted and know it was my safe place. In this season of my life, I do not own a home. I have a place to live, but I do not own it and cannot really make it the way I would like. While I am grateful to have a place to live, I am longing for my own place someday soon. It is a desire shared by many people. I have been thinking about homes a lot over the past year. I recently listened to a sermon in which the speaker referenced John 14:1–3.

It is a familiar passage. I started to think about what Jesus is really saying in these verses. He reassures His disciples that things will be OK and that He is going away but He will come back for them. Embedded within these verses is something that reminds me that I am already a homeowner, and so are you. In verse 2, Jesus says, “In My Father’s house are many mansions,” letting us know He is preparing them for us. Let that sink in. You, friend, are a homeowner now, even if you do not own one here on this earth.

Too often we get so caught up in this world and what we want here, we forget what is most important—we have a home with Jesus.

We have a home without all the headaches of a mortgage, upkeep, property taxes, and maintenance. Though definitely an enormous price was paid for it, our heavenly home does not cost us a thing. Christ wanted us with Him so much that He paid the price to ensure we could all have a home with Him forever.

So when you feel down, longing for the good things in this world more than anything else, remember—you own a home in heaven. Jesus is preparing the perfect home for you, where you will love all your neighbors, and it will be located in the best neighborhood. Your home in heaven was bought and paid for by the One who could not live without you. All we need to do is take ownership of it. I am ready, how about you?
