AI-narrated recordings
The publishers barred ministries from recording the devotionals and posting them on YouTube, which left us without audio.
Other ministries chose to narrate devotionals generated by AI. We built a process in which AI only reads each devotional's real text, without changing anything. It may still make a few mistakes, and these recordings are not posted on YouTube.
Producing them every day is costly. Thank you for your support and patience.

Verse:For I know the thoughts I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” —Jeremiah 29:11, NKJV
When my husband of almost sixty-six years was nearing his one-hundredth birthday, he knew he did not have much longer to live. He also knew that he did not want me to be alone. So often he would mention different places I might want to live after he was gone. I did not even want to think about it after spending so much of my life with him.
The day did eventually arrive, and while I was taking care of all the final business, my youngest daughter invited me to come and live with her and her husband. All their children were now grown and had homes of their own.
The only problem I could see was that I had been born and raised and lived most of my life in California, in the Southwest USA, and she lived in Maine, about three thousand miles away in the Northeast USA. One of my granddaughters came to help me get ready, and I soon found myself flying to my new home in Maine.
For many years I had enjoyed being busy with church activities, but the church my family attended in Maine was very small. There was one other member about my age, but we could not find much to volunteer for in the church.
One Sabbath morning I noticed an older lady slip into church quietly and slip out just as quietly before anyone could speak to her.
After a while she stayed for the potluck one week, and we were able to meet her. We felt so happy when she gave her testimony in church one Sabbath and soon joined our group. As a child I had always wanted a little sister but only had an older brother. Now I had met Sue and discovered she lived not far away from me. We had both been widowed about the same time, and she had also moved to Maine from California, another thing we had in common. Although she was the big sister in her family, she was young enough to be the little sister I had always wanted. For several years now we have enjoyed many good times together in and out of church. Though I had been hesitant to move to a new place, I found I needed to give God room to send me on life’s detours. When I did, I discovered so many unexpected blessings came while journeying on roads I did not expect to take. God has a great plan for your life too.
